We all know that being a mom can be tough, but what would make your job even more difficult? That’s right, if your baby was a vampire. Two words: breast feeding. What would happen here? I imagine the baby would just dig in and leave two little tooth marks on the breast just above the nipple. And with all of the feeding that is necessary with a newborn, those holes probably wouldn’t have a chance to heal. Heck, if this happened for a number of generations, those boobie-tooth-holes might even start to appear before any baby was born – like a genetic mutation. Hmmm…
Now Josh, you KNOW that just isnt true according to Mendelian genetics. That is like saying that if you and Jan cut your fingers off that your child would be born fingerless!!! SHAME ON YOU!
I guess what I meant to say was that, if some vampire mother somehow developed a mutation in that her breasts developed two pre-existing holes or a swath of extra thick skin to protect her from the constant biting of the vampire baby, and furthermore this natural mutation somehow helped her survive as a vampire mother better than those mothers who hadn’t developed this mutation, the trait would probably start to slowly dominate and create a new breed of vampire mothers that we currently do not see in the wild. Does that make sense?
Slow news day?
