At last! A personal touch to the new and improved blog experience. I’ve decided to go with the “flower theme” for my banner image. Waddaya think? I may even change the image every once and a while just to shakes things up – so watch out!

Now I’ve got to update the banner image on all interior pages, reinstate my “currently consuming” list (watching, reading, playing, etc.), add an about page and a resume page, sprinkle with some interesting links, and Bob’s your uncle.

And just to prove that he’s still got the best sense of humor on the block, God decided to throw a monkey wrench into the works the other day by killing the power source in my computer. Ha ha, God. Very funny. So Mr. Fixit here had to go out, buy a new one, and install it myself. I actually enjoyed it. My inner nerd actually likes fiddling around in my tower. But I must send a big shout-out to Bob for helping me determine the difference between your standard ATX power supply and the fancy new BTX ones. Note to anyone trying to connect a BTX power supply to an ATX motherboard: even though you’ve got a cable with 24 pins and the plug only has 20 pins, you should be able to jimmy that sucker in there anyway without fear of frying your entire system. My heart actually stopped when I first turned it on to test it out, but four minutes after is successfully booted my heart started ticking again. So no worries.
