Here’s a little note to all you budding cat burglars out there: we’ll be out of our house for most of the month of December. That’s right, we’ve just booked our December travel plans!
Our adventures begin just after we close Private Eyes when we’ll be flying to Florida on December 6. We’ll be splitting our time between my Nana’s house, my Mom’s, and my Dad’s. We’ll have two full weeks to soak up the winter sun in Miami and Tampa before we fly back to Barcelona on December 20. I hope we’ll be able to sort out our jet lag in 48 hours because we then fly to England on December 22. After our traditional Christmas with Jan’s parents and a few snowball fights, we fly back to Barcelona on December 28, just in time for New Year’s grapes and Cava in Catalunya.
So, anyone planning on being in the North Miami Beach area? Or Tampa? Or Outwell? Let’s set a play date!
[Mostly copied from last year. I couldn’t be asked.]
I figure I can work from my nana’s the week of the 12-16 and stay through the weekend, if that makes sense with your plans. Do you know when you’ll be where in Florida?
Still working on the details. We’ll probably spend at least three days up near Tampa, but I still don’t know when. I’m calling around now to find everyone’s availabilities and preferences. Yours are registered 🙂
Hmm. I’ve actually looked more deeply at my calendar and have to revise my availabilities and preferences.
I can *either* come to Florida on December 6th, and leave on Sunday the 11th (I need to be in NY the night of the 11th to see Book of Mormon), or I can come on Monday the 12th, and stay until the evening of Sunday the 18th. Let me know which chunk of time affords me the greater opportunity to see your lovely face.
Somewhere from 6th to 11th! I believe Amy will be coming for the same weekend. We’ll probably be driving up towards Tampa around the 14th or 15th (still not sure).
Okie, then I’ll buy my flight for the 6th-11th? Please confirm 🙂
Tee hee… you couldn’t be asked.
Arsed?
We’re not Motel 6, but we’ll leave a light on for you. December can’t come fast enough.
Thanks, Daddy Dearest. Can’t wait to see you, too.
