Now a steadfast tradition, we headed to sunny Florida for the first half of our December. The warm weather was such a welcome change from the winter cold that had just started to hit Spain. Extended family made the much-appreciated effort of flying in to join us and it was sooo good to see them all. We enjoyed family, food, swimming pools, parasites, Chanukah presents, road trips, illness, strip malls, natural disasters, wild animals, and shenanigans.
