I just chose 18 of the most breathtaking photos that I took while in New York and uploaded them to my Flickr account. I was all set to put together another comprehensive album for easy viewing when I was informed that free Flickr accounts (like mine) are only allowed a total of three photo sets! Since I’ve already created three sets, I can’t create another unless I pay for a pro account. I also found out that I can only host 200 photos with a free account. My current stockpile of 135 photos is flirting with maximum capacity. The $25 a year that they’re asking isn’t too terrible, but I’m gonna see how long I can hold out before I finally cave. Waddaya think? Should I spring for an account without limits? Or should I squeeze what I can out of my current situation? In the meantime, feel free to browse through my new photos in their shamefully unorganized state.
Fight the power man…there are plenty of free ways to host photos online – blogspot lets you put as many photos on as you’d like. Also, yahoo allows a chunk of photos to be hosted for free. Screw paying for Flickr!! DAMN THEM TO HELLLLLLLLLLL!
